I was working on a blog post about the recent fooferah over whether or not we should have diplomatic negotiations with Iran. But it seems like Obama’s been looking at my notes, so I’ll just post this you tube.

Now, McCain’s campaign referred to the above as a “hysterical diatribe.” This really makes my blood boil because it’s exactly the kind of left-is-right, up-is-down talk that’s spoiling any chance of a reasonable discussion in our political process. I really feel like if there isn’t some sort of return to an embrace of reason in politics this year, I’m not going be a political observer much longer. It’s got to be bad for my health.
